Reflection and next steps ......

As your improvement programme progresses you will need to consider evaluation and spread plans.

Evaluation is a systematic determination of a subject's merit, worth and significance, using criteria governed by a set of standards. The primary purpose of evaluation, in addition to gaining insight into prior or existing initiatives, is to enable reflection and assist in the identification of future change.

Spread of the work needs to be considered to enable others to adapt and adopt your improvement work which benefits a wide range of service users and staff.

SWOT analysis

SWOT analysis (or SWOT matrix) is a strategic planning technique used to help a person or organization identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to businesscompetition or project planning. It is designed for use in the preliminary stages of decision-making processes and can be used as a tool for evaluation of the strategic position of a city or organization.
