Improvement Advisor Training Opportunity

Updated: Jan 10, 2019

As part of our ongoing commitment to quality improvement we have agreed to support two staff members to complete the IHI Improvement Advisor programme. This equips them with the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver and support quality improvement programme and will increase our specialist capacity within BCU.

There is a substantial time commitment and cost to this course(£6000/person); during which they will complete a local project of their choice.

In addition to the criteria outlined in the document, the local expectations are:

· The project chosen supports delivery of the quality improvement strategy priorities.

· The applicant is an active member of the QI Hub and engages in supporting/coaching other members where possible.

· The applicant agrees to run at least 1 IQT Silver training cohort each year

· The applicant will actively embed quality improvement into their daily work; completing at least one project each year.
